A handmade and thrown object carries the history of ceramics.

It is my aim to make dishes combining functionality and aesthetics in their forms and decorations. Thrown cups and saucers are hand-decorated by means of drawings and engravings. The final touch is gained by individually made glazes. My production also includes candleholders and lampshades as well as other products for atmospheric interior decoration. The materials and glazes used are dishwasher- and microwave oven -proof. Functional ware is fired in an electric- and wood-kiln.

In good as well as bad times people tend to sit down and take their favourite cup – as if to face a good friend - for a cup of warm drink.

I want to create everyday utilitarian cups and dishes whose functionality and intimacy is realized when they are used.
